I refuse to feel even slightly guilty for revelling in this gorgeous disassembly. Savage and utterly right.

Early in my delighted new-discovery Horizon reading, a high-profile (on here) smartarse imperiously told me that it was, sadly, "just AI" Sheeeesh. The kneejerk insufferable self-righteous superciliousness, gotcha-ing silly duped me.

I am afraid to compliment the prose as I feel I am falling into a trap by doing it…but doing it anyway. Might have to read this one more than once.

I have the impression that you are rather angry / disgusted with a specific writer who is not, btw, you but a contemporary. Very well written in a barbed, derisively dripping sort of way but not your usual at all.

Are you Frederick? Guilty of your success? Guilty of selling out?

Or is it every Frederick with a sass business selling subscriptions to the masses?

Read it to end - did not want to - still. The picture in my head is someone who fills the media like a meteor of burning garbage - wet and hot, but that man is more primal, less intelligent than Frederick Sass, though I supposed if I reread it, I would find you never ascribed any intelligence, but like an LLM, it can be ungenerously interperted as making some sort of sense. What if all AI was all hallucination or better ... isn't all AI all hallucination all the time? isnt' that Sass too? He is an internal disgust bomb that expurgates relentlessly and no one can find the damn spigot.
